Pre-Discharge Debtor Education
ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions’ personal finance certificate program is offered in several formats–any of which will earn you a certificate from ClearPoint that meets the Justice Department’s Pre-Discharge Debtor Education requirement.
The goal of the class is to give those recovering from bankruptcy the money management skills needed to reestablish their credit and overall financial situation. A “fresh start” after bankruptcy can lead people astray if they do not make use of new financial tools to move ahead in ways that help them reach their goals while avoiding rebuilding debt.
